I would like to also mention that it was thousands of dollars less than other dealers. My son was also able to purchase an additional warranty for 5 years from Joe through Allstate. Not only does Joe sells quality preowned vehicles, he offers additional services. My daughter wanted a "new" SUV after she graduated from College. The new car dealer would not give her what she wanted for her trade-in. After searching for a car around Pittsburgh, I had nearly lost every bit of faith that I had in used car dealers; that is, until I expanded my search into nearby states and found Klaben Motor Sales. I found exactly the car that I was looking for on Klaben's lot and reached out to surprisingly receive a response for the Joe Klaben himself. We discussed what my trade would be worth, the condition of the car I was interested in, and even discussed financing and potential warranty options. We all but signed the paper work to complete the deal. The car was priced so well that I thought either something had to be wrong with it, all of the internet valuations were incorrect, or Joe was going to pull some price switch on me when I got there. Nope. The car was every bit what I expected it to be, the price was exactly what it was supposed to be, and Joe was as accommodating, helpful, professional, and kind as he was supposed to be. In my lifetime, I have purchased many cars, new and used. Every time I have to buy a car, I always seem to get the runaround from at least one dealership. Three months ago, when I was looking for a car, I had one of my lifetime worst experiences with a dealership in Akron. I was very frustrated with the buying process until I walked into Klaben and was greeted by Joe Klaben. He was very professional, friendly and courteous. He was very patient with my questions. Probably one of my best buying experiences. I waited to write my review, in case I had any servicing issues with my car. Three months after I purchased my car, the routine mileage servicing was due. I dropped off the car all was fine. A few weeks later, I noticed oil leaking. I called Joe Klaben about the leak. He suggested I drop I the car off. I didn't have the time. So he said his mechanics could take a quick look for me. I did. I waited about fifteen minutes. The oil was just excess from the routine servicing. Some of the oil collected in a groove, so when the water from the air conditioning released, it pushed the oil from groove. In all my years of buying cars, I have never had an experience like I did recently at Klaben Motor Sales. Joe is one of the most professional, highly ethical car dealers I have ever had the pleasure to work with, and to top it off, I NEVER set foot in his dealership. My entire transaction was handled via email and telephone. I reside in Southern California and had been looking for a Ford Mustang GT for quite some time. There is so much I want to say about the owner, Joe Klaben and His business Klaben Motor Sales but in an attempt to keep this readable and not to lengthy I'll try to sum up my many deals with him. It had been a year or so since I purchased a car from Joe and wanted to stop by and offer my thanks and opinion about the dealership. First I mu I say that I had been to over 10 dealerships and no one would or could help me. I spent a while day a one dealership trying to get a deal done and actually had another dealership sale the car I had already placed my money down on. The amount of time and energy not to mention all the ininquiries ( 50) that was placed on my report made things that much more difficult to get financing. Not for Joe! I made a call and he said within a 30min he would have no problem getting me the car I wanted. I came up from Pittsburgh to look at a vehicle. The owner was out of town but the man who was put in charge was very pleasant. The car did have a burnt out headlight that we were unable to fix before leaving and did need a few things to become Pennsylvania legal (I expected that), but overall I had a very nice experience. I have always wanted a classic car and I was browsing the internet and came across this beautiful old school, muscle car for sale at Kalben Motors. I called them up on a Saturday afternoon to inquire about the car and unfortunately they had just taken it to the auction, but Joe said that he would call me back if the car didn't sale. I got a message Monday afternoon stating that the car was back on the lot. I went up there right after work just wanting to take a test drive, but after cruising around in the car for about an hour and a half, I knew that I had to have this car. Joe Klaben...my hat's off to you. You represented this vehicle with 100% honesty. Being some 450 miles away, of course I was a bit apprehensive buying a car sight unseen, but I took Joe at his word that the vehicle I was interested in was as good as he said it was. I have bought many used vehicles out of state and either flown or drove to pick them up. All of those experiences turned out to be nightmares until I met Joe Klaben of Klaben Motors. This young man was on vacation when I called about the car he was advertising on cars.com, so I spoke to his father. But being the personable type of man he is, Joe called me himself and we agreed upon the numbers over the phone. I figured the car would have some issues not seen in the photos, but this wasn't the case, not with Klaben Motors! I drove six hours to get my 2003 Lexus GS300 with 31K one owner miles on it, and felt like a King, when I left this dealership! Yes, I was treated THAT good! I looked all over the country for a great low mileage used car and ironically ended up at Klaben Auto Sales just 20 minutes from my home. Joe Klaben, who sold me my car, came across as a no nonsense business owner that just wanted to make the customer happy and make a little money on his cars. I found nothing wrong with that! He has a small and friendly staff that made sure that I was taken care of.
